Majken Christiansen sings in the tradition of the great jazz divas but does her thing with an open and updated expression. No matter what she sings, she interprets and conveys the timeless lyrics and melodies from The American Songbook with warmth, honesty and conviction. Her quartet consists of pianist Andreas Dreier, bassist Magne Arnesen and drummer Torstein Ellingsen.
